Avoiding Unnecessary Complications
In reviewing and resetting my Blog, I am making a conscious decision to try and avoid unnecessary complication. I am aware of how complex things are or at least when we try to think properly about them. And I tend to try and structure things towards such complexity at too early a stage. Inevitably, this leads to multiple revisions.
So, I have resolved to keep things as simple as possible to start with – or at least to try. This will be reflected in my use of Categories and Tags, which will undoubtedly develop and change as I continue to write.
Nevertheless, it is probably useful to start with a few basic Categories as follows:
- General Blog Categories
- About – posts about myself as author or the blog in general
- Books Referenced – posts about books that are referenced in the Blog, or that I am currently reading
- Christian Ministry – Blogs about Christian Ministry, Church or Sermons
- Church
- Sermon
