The costly process of Thinking
This blog is primarily a space for my personal thinking aloud, and for keeping notes of points of interest … So
- Posting a reference to something won’t necessarily mean that I agree with it (I want to hear from more than my natural bubble, and I may be just taking notes).
- Where I do make comments and suggest opinions, I may often be exploring and asking questions, more than I am asserting final convictions.
I want to write with humility and – though I write mostly for myself – where others read and comment, I hope that they will do so with grace.
A New Wine Skin
This Blog is something of a new start. Having retired after a career in project lending followed by nearly twenty years as a minister in the Church of England, I am pressing a review and reset button.
Whilst it is a new start, however, it is also a reflection on everything I have been thinking about over many years, but never had the time to put into words.
New wine, Jesus said, requires new wine skins. But new wine skins can contain old wine as well. So I hope to include things old and new, even borrowed … but perhaps not blue.
